Michele (Garnier) Savage was born on Oct 7th, 1966 in Centralia, Illinois. My family is well known in the community as the owners for over 125 years of Garnier and Sons Funeral Home. I want to include a History of my family and of the Funeral Home as well on these pages. I've been doing some studying and research into the history and have found it fascinating. When I was born I had major health issues in the form of a Congenital Heart Defect. This was corrected when I was 7 years old and I am proud to say, I have not had any problems since. I now live in Columbus, Ohio with my husband Steve and our canine daughter Lucy, a Yorkshire Terrier we adopted 3 years ago.
I currently work for Insight Communications in their Columbus Insight Media Advertising division. I do on air graphic production and produce programming on the Classified Ads channel (Insight Channel 7, if you live in the Columbus, Oh., Insight service area)
I seem to have fallen quite accidentally into web page creating and maintaining. (I love how these things happen LOL) The 4 main pages that I have created and/or maintain are Hugh O'Gorman's home page. Hugh is an actor who portrayed Jeff Singer on Remember WENN and most recently was seen as Burly the Troll on The 10th Kingdom. Hugh is also an accomplished stage performer who most recently stepped into the acting shoes of Cary Grant in a stage production of The Philadelphia Story in Los Angeles.
I maintain for work the Careersearchohio.com website. This is a local job search site that supplements the Career Search TV show that I create on air content for on Columbus' Insight Communications classified channel.
AmorousAirwaves is my Remember WENN fan site. I've got a fantastic design in progress for this page that I know the WENN fans will adore. :-)
And of course Bizarra.com. My personal home on the web. This site will be a collection of stuff. Kinda like walking through a virtual memorabilia and antique mall. Hope it's enjoyed. :-)
Why pumpkins? You will notice a recurring theme of pumpkins on my site. Why? Well contrary to popular belief <eg>, pumpkins are not a new thing to me. Since I was born an October baby... it was natural for me to gravitate to pumpkins. My birthday cake, more often than not was a pumpkin pie. I have a nice little collection of pumpkins that I've acquired in recent years. And yeah, there is the obvious Pumpkin. ;-)
