Re-enactment/ Living History and WW2 History pages

As most of you well know, I am a WW2 history buff.  Lately I've been trying my hand at getting involved in WW2 re-enactments and Period Living History.  What will be here is photos and such from events I've been to, as well as links and other goodies that I've gathered, collected and such. At some point it is likely that the WW2 History stuff will be branched off onto it's own page.

For now, here are some great pics from an event I went to on Sept 30th in Dayton Ohio at the US Air Force Museum.  I was not part of the re-enactors but went in costume to enjoy my day.  This was a WW1 period event called, "Dawn Patrol Rendezvouz"  Please wait till pics load, you'll enjoy them! :-)

This dress was made for me by Jessica Roberts, who also went with me to this event.  We were interviewed a couple of times, one from the Dayton newspaper (a photog followed us for a while) and someone from one of the Dayton TV News shows. Not sure if we made the news, but Jessica made the paper. :-)

We've been invaded! <g> Funny thing about this picture, I had *no idea* he was standing behind me until after the pic was taken and he walked on past with a "hello."  Turned out to be a good picture.

This is the hat I made to go with the dress. It was a little too big, which is why I am holding it in all the other pictures. I don't have a whole lot of hair to pin a hat to. ;-) Though I'm really happy at how this turned out.

I'll have a whole lot more here soon, as well as something better organized. I know the pics will load in waay to slow, so will put them on a separate page, ASAP.
